You can prepare a fantastic puff pastry with Thermomix in a very short time: 30 Seconds! Don't you believe me? Read the recipe, test it and let me know!

This recipe has been sent by Giorgia, a follower of the Italian Facebook page (English here) who in turn took it from the very good Francesco82 of the Cookaround website.

Yon can use this puff pastry to prepare rustic pizzas, desserts and the famous Vol Au Vent.

Ingredients

- 200 g Plain Flour
- 200 g Frozen Butter in pieces
- 70 g Cold Water
- 10 g Salt

How to prepare the Puff Pastry in 30 Seconds

Put flour, butter salt and cold water in the bowl. Knead for 30 Sec. Speed 5 until it is well combined.

Remove from the bowl and roll forming into a smooth rectangle.

Fold the top third down to the centre, then the bottom third up and over that. Give the dough a quarter turn (to the left or right) and roll out again to three times the length. Fold again for a total of 9 turns.

Chill for at least 20 Min. before rolling to use.

You may also keep it in the freezer, rolled and wrapped in greaseproof paper. Then you may use it as the one we buy in the supermarket whenever you want.

Giorgia's advice

Put water in the freezer 20 Min before making the pastry; butter 1 or 2 hours before using it.
