Do you like Coconut Yogurt? It is made with Coconut Milk in the Thermomix and it is a delicious fresh treat!
If you are dairy products intolerant, you may fall in love with this Coconut Yogurt. It has all the properties of Coconut Milk and all the deliciousness of a dessert.
You may give it to your children for breakfast or for an afternoon snack, I'm sure they will love it as it is a real deli. Why don't you also try eating it with a mix of fruit? So fresh, delicate and healthy!
For example I love eating it for breakfast with lots of strawberries or blueberries, kiwis and muesli. I feel so satisfied when I eat a mix of vitamins like this first thing in the morning, so charging!
As for the Coconut Milk recipe, I found this coconut yogurt recipe on the Forum Community where it was posted by squirrel (again sorry, I do not know your real name, contact me!). Here what squirrel wrote on the forum: "I use dairy yogurt as a starter, but you could use plain soy yogurt or possibly purchase a probiotic non-dairy starter. It is not the thickest yogurt you will ever make, but it tastes very scrumptious".
Hope you will try it too!! :-) Amazing recipe!

Ingredients- 500 g Coconut Milk
- 2 tablespoons Organic Plain Yogurt
- 1 heaped tablespoon Honey
- 1 tsp Agar Agar Powder (optional)
- 1 tsp Tapioca Flour (optional)
How to prepare Coconut YogurtIn the Thermomix, cook the coconut milk for 7 Min. 70°C Speed 1.
Place two heaped tablespoons of organic plain yoghurt in a ramekin.
Make sure the ramekin and spoon have been washed in hot water. Shake out the water, do not wipe with tea towel or anything that will corrupt the yogurt.
Set aside to reach room temperature.
Let the coconut milk stand in the Thermomx bowl until the 37°C light goes off on the Thermomix.
Then pour a little amount of coconut milk into your ramekin with your yogurt starter (using your clean spoon) and mix to a runny paste.
Add back to your remaining coconut milk in the Thermomix.
Also add 1 heaped tablespoon of honey (gives the yogurt starter something to feed on)
Optionally here add 1 tsp of agar agar powder and 1 tsp of tapioca flour to thicken.
Mix for 4 Sec. Speed 3
Cook for 7 Min. 37°C Speed 1.
Pour the coconut milk yogurt into a food thermos (I usually let stand for 10 mins with boiling water in the thermos to pre-warm it).
Let the yoghurt stand for about 5 hours. Then pour into a clean glass jar and refridgerate.
