Lentil Mini Burgers With Thermomix

What can you do when is bbq night but some of your guests don't eat meat? Surprise them with these yummy Lentil Mini Burgers to prepare with Thermomix! A delicious option to go well with your favourite salad, veggie side dish and sauce. They're very quick to make, and meat eaters will jump on them too, so make sure you prepare enough of this little gems :-)

This Lentil Mini Burger recipe is a very original idea! It has been created by Rosanna from Rome and was very welcome in my book of recipes!

I like to serve them with dips or with the delicious Thermomix Hummus, I find they go great together!

And if you like lentils, you should definitely try the Lentil Soup too.

Ingredients

- 30 g stale bread
- 25 g onion
- ½ clove of garlic
- salt to taste
- pepper as needed
- 25 g corn oil
- 400 g lentils already boiled
- extra virgin olive oil as needed

Let's make our Lentil Mini Burgers

Put 30 g bread into the mixing bowl and chop 10 Sec. Speed 7-8.

Add 25 g onion, half a clove of garlic and chop 5 Sec. Speed 5.

Add a pinch of salt, one of pepper and mix 10 Sec. Speed 5.

Add 25 g corn oil, 400 g boiled lentils and mix 20 Sec. Speed 6.

Pour the mixture into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and put to rest in the fridge 30 Min.

Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and give each the shape of a hamburger, helping you, if you have it, with a pastry cutter.

Put a pan on the heat and pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Cook the lentil burgers by browning them for 5 Min. per side.

Serve them still warm.

Roll them into bread crumbs and coat well one by one. Deep-fry for 2 to 3 Min..

My Advice

If you don't have stale bread, it's fine with breadcrumbs ready in the same amount.

How about bringing these vegetarian burgers to the table like the classic burgers? Sandwich, lettuce, pickles, ketchup and mayonnaise!
