If you like to get creative and decorate your desserts, this Thermomix Cake Frosting recipe is just right!

The frosting is a delicate no-cooking cream that is quick and easy to make with your Thermie, ideal for filling fruit cakes and cupcakes. Just mix the various ingredients and you get a very good soft and delicate cream with a very pleasant taste.

Cake design is quite in fashion these days, and we all love those beautiful sweet creations we see on TV and in the shop windows, so why don't you give it a try and serve some beautifully decorated cupcakes to friends and family?

Today I'm sharing this basic Cake Frosting recipe, something both children and grown-ups will have fun playing with to decorate a simple sponge cake, cupcakes, muffins or anything you feel like :-)


Ingredients

- 200 g sugar
- 50 g soft butter
- 35 g fresh cream
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- food colouring



Let's make our Cake Frosting

Place 200 g sugar into the mixing bowl and make it into icing sugar. 10 Sec. Speed 7.

Add 50 g soft butter, 35 g fresh cream and 1 tbsp vanilla sugar. 1 Min. Speed 5.

You now have your basic white frosting which you can colour as you like with food colouring.

Place mixture into sac à poche and start decorating!



My Advice

You can add a hint of lemon or orange flower extract for some extra flavour.
