Would you like to taste the Stuffed Round Zucchini? You can prepare them, as I did, with Thermomix.
- 1 L Water
- 4 Round Zucchini
- 150 g Cream Cheese (Stracchino Cheese)
- 100 g Smoked Pancetta in cubes
- 1/2 Onion
How to prepare the Stuffed Round Zucchini with Thermomix
Put water in the bowl. 12 Min. 100°C Speed 1.
Place the round zucchinis on the Varoma tray. When water boils put the tray on Thermomix. 30 Min. Temp. Varoma. Speed 2.
Put the water you used to cook aside because it has been enriched with zucchinis colour and substances during the Varoma cooking! Later you will need 20 gr of them.
Cut the tops and carve the inside using a melon baller or a small sharp-edged spoon.
Put a soup plate under the Varoma tray and place it on a table. Let the pulp release water and so the zucchini put upside-down.
Put onion in the dry mixing bowl. 10 Sec. Speed 7.
Add smoked pancetta and 20 g of the coking water. 3 Min. 100°C Reverse Speed 1.
Add the pulp you removed from zucchinis. 8 Min. Temp. Varoma Reverse Speed Gentle Stirring.
Add the stracchino Cheese. 15 Sec. Reverse Speed 3.
Fill in the zucchinis with this mixture. Close every zucchini with his own top and bake. 20 min. 200°C.
Don't throw away the remained cooking water! You might involve it in other recipes. For example I used it to prepare my daughters' soups!
