Bread Sticks with Thermomix

Do you like eating bread sticks while waiting for the main dishes in a restaurant? This recipe will let you crunch bread sticks at home too, preparing them by yourself with Thermomix.

Children usually love them. When I went on holiday in the mountain, bread sticks were always on the table of the hotel restaurant where we stayed. So the first thing I used to do was removing and hiding all the bread sticks from the table otherwise my daughters wouldn't have eaten the rest of the meal...Then obviously they tried to steal them from grandparents and they also begged them for giving their bread sticks to them. But this is another story.

Actually bread sticks are a real treat. They're very pleasant to eat but they could be a worry for us adults too. We binge with bread sticks (= carbohydrates) and we don't eat the rest. But the idea of making them myself was very tempting. All the more they are very versatile. For example to be served with the classic melon and ham summery starter. They are also perfect to decorate the bread basket and make it more desirable on the table when you have some guests. Or, as my sister does with her daughter, for the kids' break with Nutella.

Well then, when Giovanna Begni sent me this recipe of her "quick recipe to prepare at the very last minute" I've been very happy". Bread sticks were missing in my list!
