Pancetta, Chard and Parmesan Cheese Pasta. The goal is always the same: eat and make eat vegetables. In this case we're talking about chard. If you cook chard with pancetta, its savour change a lot from when you cook it on its own. Finally if you add some shaved parmesan cheese you'll have a balanced and very tasty food combining.
In short, a sauce that unifies vegetables, meat and cheese. What is "green" (and children often don't like) is hidden between pancetta and parmesan cheese. So it becomes immediately tasty.
For my daughters, and for all of us adults, this is a complete dish. It's perfect for dinner because it's quick and delicious. I suggested it to my mother: if she has to eat pasta, she prefers to cover it with every kind of vegetables. At some point she doesn't know anymore what to prepare, poor her. That's a perfect recipe for her. The Thermomix Rocket Pesto with Tomatoes is another sauce I suggested to her. Just think that sauce has convinced my vegetarian friend Maddi who has got all sorts of food intolerance...!
Ingredients
(Serves 2 people, abundantly)
-1/2 Onion
- 40 g Olive Oil
- 100 g Sweet Pancetta
- 100 g Chard
- Shaved Parmesan Cheese to taste
How to prepare the Pancetta, Chard and Parmesan Cheese Pasta
Put the onion in the mixing bowl. 3 Sec. Speed 7.
If you prefer smallest pieces of onion, gather with the spatula and grind again. 3 Sec. Speed 7.
Add the oil. 3 Min. 100°C Speed 1.
Add the pancetta. 3 Min. 100°C Reverse Speed Gentle Stirring.
Wash chard very well, cut into strips and put it into the bowl. 7 Min. 100°C Reverse Speed Gentle Stirring.
Use this sauce to dress your pasta.
Add shaved parmesan on your pasta. I usually add parmesan cheese profusely because I adore it :-P.
My Advice
If you want to increase the quantity to serve 4 people you just need to double the ingredients and the cooking times. ;-)
