Cherry Tomatoes, Black Olives and Basil: a Special Thermomix Pasta Sauce

Cherry Tomatoes, Black Olives and Basil    Would you like to prepare a pasta sauce with Cherry Tomatoes, Black Olives and Basil with your Thermomix? Here you are a recipe for a fresh and quick sauce. You can dress every kind of pasta with it!

Obviously they are a tastier alternative to canned tomatoes!

In Italy this tomato is commonly known as Pachino Tomato because it is mostly cultivated in Sicily, in Pachino exactly. It is very tasty, sweet I'd say, small in size, round shaped. Very nice to see and eat of course!

Ingredients


(2 people serving)
- 6 basil Leaves
- 1/2 onion
- 50 g extra virigin olive oil
- 300 g cherry tomatoes
- 20 black olives
- salt to taste


Let's cook


Put 6 basil leaves in the mixing bowl and chop 3 Sec. Speed 7.

Add 1/2 onion and chop 5 Sec. Speed 7.

Add 50 g extra virigin olive oil and stir fry 3 Min. 100C Speed 1.

Boil water in a pan and cook your favourite pasta.

In the meantime, cut 300 g tomatoes in a half and put in the mixing bowl. 10 Min. 100C Reverse Soft Speed .

Cut 20 black olives in a half and add into the mixing bowl. 5 Min. 100C Reverse Soft Speed .

At the end of the cooking add salt as needed. 10 Sec. Reverse Soft Speed .

When the sauce is ready, dress pasta with it.


Tips

You can finish the dish with a sprinkle of raw oil and freshly chopped basil by hand.

Do you need more sauce? Double the doses, increasing the cooking time of the tomatoes by 2 minutes.
