Artichokes Omelette with Thermomix: Varoma Cooking

Here you are a light and complete second dish to prepare with Artichokes using your Thermomix of course: Artichokes Omelette cooked in the Varoma tray.

The Varoma cooking gives this omelette more softness respect to the classic fried version or baked one. Moreover is lighter so, less caloric. It's suitable for those who always ask me: "Flavia can you please propose a low-fat recipe?

Artichokes are cooked with a very low quantity of oil and the omelette is cooked in the Varoma tray as I said before. Eggs are super nourishing and they don't cause those collateral effects usually caused by meat. So I think it's a perfect dish for those who want to eat with taste but in a low-fat way!

You can serve it immediately when it's out of the Varoma and still warm or even cold. You can prepare it in the evening and bring it with you in your lunch box. Completely different from those dried up dishes you find in canteens and cafes. Lunch box can be vary sad. But it depends on how you fill it, isn't it? A good artichokes omelette brings happiness, for its vivid colours at least!

It is a big success even served during a buffet cut into squares. Moreover is a second dish you should consider if you have vegetarian guests. I have my friend Maddi who is vegetarian and super everything intolerant and I always think of preparing a vegetarian dish. I think I'll prepare this omelette the next time she'll come to dine!

- 4 Eggs
- Some Sprigs of Parsley
- 1 Artichoke peeled and washed
- 20 g Olive Oil
- 10 g White Wine
- 500 g Water

How to prepare Artichokes Omelette with Varoma

Put eggs in the bowl. 5 Sec. Speed 4. Put aside.

Wash the bowl.

Put parsley inside the bowl. 3 Sec. Speed 7.

Cut artichoke into thin slices. Put it in the bowl and add the oil. 5 Min. 100°C Reverse Speed Gentle Stirring.

Pour in the white wine and continue the cooking. 5 Min. 100°C Reverse Speed Gentle Stirring.

Unify the artichokes and the eggs and pour it all in the Varoma tray, coverd with greaseproof paper.

Pour water in the bowl. Close your Thermomix. Place the Varoma tray on the bowl. 13 Min. Temp. Varoma Speed 1.
