Nutella Spread with Thermomix

Nutella spread is a national myth. Unique and incomparable Nutella spread.
You can prepare your Nutella spread with Thermomix and you know what you are putting inside it!

Lots of friends of the Italian version of this website insisted on me adding the Nutella recipe online. Actually it was missing! So here I am. And I published it on the Italian website for the World Nutella Day (February 5, 2011)

Yes! You can prepare Nutella with your Thermomix. There are many recipes for its preparation: I prepared the second one and the result was excellent! And, it does not contain preservatives ;-)

Of course it is not the original nutella spread. As with the Coca Cola's recipe: for certain there is a secret ingredient in it. Anyway these recipes are very good. Try them and let me know!

Around the web there are heaps of Nutella recipes to use with Thermomix. It is not very clear about the authors! So I can't write any name. If one of these recipes is yours, please tell me and I'll write it down :-) I'll be very happy to write the author's name of each recipe!

Recipe n° 1


Ingredients

- 100 g Dark Chocolate
- 100 g White Chocolate
- 50 g Butter
- 80 g Milk
- 60 g Roasted Hazelnuts (peeled)
- 80 g Sugar


How to prepare the Nutella with Thermomix

Put sugar and hazelnuts in the bowl and pulverise. 30 Sec. Speed Turbo.

Add chocolate. 20 Sec. Speed Turbo.

Add milk and butter. 5 Min. 50°C Speed 4.

Pour in a jar, let get cold and close hermetically. Then keep refrigerated.

Ingredients

- 90 g Roasted Hazelnuts
- 100 g Dark Chocolate
- 100 g Milk Chocolate
- 90 g Vegetable Oil
- 150 g Sugar
- 200 g Milk


How to prepare the Nutella with Thermomix

Put sugar and hazelnuts in the bowl and pulverise. 2 Min. Speed Turbo.

Grind chocolate. 30 Sec. Speed 5.

Add milk and oil and cook. 5 Min. 50°C Speed 4.

Mix. 1 Min. Speed Turbo.


Recipe n° 3


Ingredients

- 60 g Roasted Hazelnuts
- 1 Biscuit
- 80 g Dark Chocolate
- 20 g White Chocolate
- 100 g Sugar
- 100 g Milk
- 50 g Butter


How to prepare the Nutella with Thermomix

Put sugar and hazelnuts in the bowl and insert the simmering basket to reduce empty space. Grind. 30 Sec. Speed 4.

Remove the basket and add the biscuit and the chocolates. 30 Sec. Speed Turbo.

Add milk. 5 Min. 50°C Speed 4.

Add butter. 30 Sec. Speed 4.

Pour in a jar, allow to get cold completely and then keep refrigerated.

Ingredients

- 120 g Toasted Hazelnuts, peel removed
- 120 White Sugar
- 100 g Dark Chocolate, in pieces
- 100 g Milk Chocolate
- 100 g White Chocolate
- 100 g Full-Fat Milk
- 80 g Vegetable Oil
- 1 Tbsp Brandy


How to prepare the Nutella with Thermomix

Put sugar and hazelnuts in the bowl and pulverise. 30 Sec. Speed 7.

Add chocolates. 40 Sec. Speed 7. You must have a smooth cream.

Add milk, oil and brandy. 7 Sec. 50°C Speed 5.

Pour in a jar, let get cold and close hermetically. Then keep refrigerated.


Recipe n° 5


Ingredients

- 90 g Roasted Hazelnuts
- 100 g Dark Chocolate
- 100 g White Chocolate
- 90 g Vegetable Oil
- 150 g Sugar
- 200 g Full-Fat Milk


How to prepare the Nutella with Thermomix

Roast hazelnuts in the oven for some minutes. Peel them.

Put sugar and hazelnuts in the bowl and grind. 35-40 Sec. Speed 7/8.

Add chocolate. 35-40 Sec. Speed 6/7.

Add milk and oil. Cook 6 Min. 50°C Speed 4/5.

Blend. 1 Min. Speed 7/8.

Pour in jars and keep refrigerated.

- 100 g Roasted Hazelnuts
- 100 g Dark Chocolate
- 100 g White Chocolate
- 100 g Milk Chocolate
- 150 g Vegetable Oil
- 150 g Sugar
- 200 g Full-Fat Milk

Put sugar and hazelnuts in the bowl and pulverise. 20 Sec. Speed 9.

Add chocolates. 20 Sec. Speed 9.

Add milk and oil. Cook 7 Min. 50°C Speed 4.

Ingredients

- 60 g Roasted Hazelnuts
- 100 g Dark Chocolate
- 100 g Sugar
- 70 g Butter
- 100 g Full-Fat Milk


How to prepare the Nutella with Thermomix


Put sugar and hazelnuts in the bowl and pulverise. 20 Sec. Speed 9.

Add chocolate. 20 Sec. Speed 9.

Add milk and butter. Cook 6 Min. 50°C Speed 3.


My advice

To roast hazelnuts, put them in the oven at 180°C for 10/15 Min.

Stefania Franzoso: "The basic cookbook recipe is very good. It seems too watery but once cold it is perfect to be spread!"

Concetta Petruolo: "It cannot have same consistency of Nutella because the original one is an industrialised product while the Thermomix Spread (right name I'd say) is a fresh product, and a preservative-free product. I don't want to say it is better than the original one but it is a great spread too!! :-)

Cristiana de Florio: "Heat it in the microwave oven before you eat it. It is delicious!".

Morena Bonazza: "I've made it many times and it has always been good and perfectly spread (you must keep it refrigerated though). It doesn't taste like the real Nutella, but it is good. I put 70 g dark chocolate instead of 100 g and I add 30 g of white chocolate. "

Alessia Milani Termini: "I've already done it too and it is luscious! Of course you have to keep it refrigerated. Last summer my daughter went to a summer camp and brought some jars with her. Some kids told her my spread was better than the original one....what a great satisfaction!!
