Very Quick Yogurt Cake with Thermomix



Do you want to make a yogurt cake? Here it is a very quick and simple recipe to prepare an healthy cake with your own hands, saving time and money and... health!

Yogurt is an exceptional ingredients that gives cakes softness and consistency, with no too many fats. With flour, eggs and sugar that we always have at home, it is part of the ingredients of this recipe.

Try and make this fat-free yogurt cake either when you want to prepare something new for breakfast, or some friends of your children come, or when you have to bring a cake to a friends party and don't know what to do really.

Moreover, if you're dieting you can taste a small slice of it without feeling so guilty! ;-)

So, if you want to prepare a yogurt cake, you have a vast range of choices! Here the original fact is that there are 2 yogurt tubs involved, and this confers the cake a fantastic softness!

Unfortunately, the cake can be a little bit chewy. To solve this problem, you can replace a tub of yogurt with one of milk. This was suggested by Bellamore 79.

Ingredients


- 3 Eggs
- 150 g Sugar
- 2 Yogurt Tubs, flavoured to your taste (1 Tub = 125 g)
- 220 g Flour
- 1 Pinch Salt
- 1 Baking Powder Sachet


How to prepare the Very Quick Yogurt Cake


Put eggs and sugar in the bowl. 30 Sec. Speed 4.

Add the rest of the ingredients. 40 Sec. Speed 4.

Put in a buttered baking pan and bake. 30 Min. 180°C.

To avoid the chewy effect, replace one of the yogurt tub with a tub of milk!

I always make this cake but I put a yogurt tub and a vegetable oil tub, it becomes very high and soft, even one day later but if you don't want to use oil, using milk is the best suggestion"

I've made it following an old recipe of mine, using 1 yogurt tub and 1 of vegetable oil, whipping egg-whites into stiff peaks and it has become fantastic!!
