Erika prepared the Polenta with Sausage Sauce
She has used 4 Thermomix at the same time!! She has used the recipe on the basic cookbook and at the end of the cooking she has added gorgonzola cheese and continued cooking for other 5 minutes...
A fantastic gorgonzola flavoured polenta!
And the sausage sauce is luscious served on the polenta!!
For the Polenta (I took the recipe from here)
- 250 g Polenta
- 1200 g Water (or 600 g Water + 600 g Milk)
- 1 Tbsp Thermomix Stock Cube
For the Sausage Sauce (Erika's recipe)
- 800 g Sausages
- 80 g Celery, Carrot and Onion
- 600 g Tomato Sauce
- 1 Measuring Cup Red Wine
- 40 g Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
How to prepare the Polenta with Sausage Sauce
Prepare the polenta.
Put water and the stock cube in the bowl and let boil. 12 Min. 100°C Speed 1.
Add the polenta through the lid hole while the knives are moving at Speed 2.
Use the spatula from time to time while cooking 10 Min. 100°C Speed.
Prepare the sausage sauce.
Put vegetables in the bowl. 20 Sec. Speed 5.
Add oil and cook. 5 Min. 100°C Speed Gentle Stirring Reverse.
Add the sausages, the tomato sauce, the wine, salt and pepper and cook. 30 Min. 100°C Speed Gentle Stirring Reverse.
Remove the measuring cup and let evaporate. Replace it with the simmering basket to avoid splashes.
Keep it warm.
Serve this sauce on the polenta.
