Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse with Thermomix

Is there anything tastier than a Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse when you want to chill out on your couch maybe watching a good romantic movie?

This recipe has been sent to me by Chiara Fiorito from Reggio Emilia. When I received it I immediately took my Thermomix and followed the indications to see what I would have created.

In a few minutes I made a very easy, delicious and creamy dessert, perfect to be served to your guest after dinner.

The word mousse originally comes from French and it means exactly "foam" or "froth".

If you like creamy dessert I'll give you another idea: with your Thermomix you may prepare the Frothy Coffee or the classic Custard (alone or as a garnishing for other cakes) even in the Milk-Free and Gluten-Free versions.

Ingredients

- 100 g Hazelnut Chocolate in pieces
- 100 g Skimmed Milk
- 4 Eggs
- 120 Soft Butter
- Whipped Cream

How to prepare the Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse

Put hazelnut chocolate in the bowl and grind. 10 Sec. Speed 8.

Add milk and cook. 3 Min. 70°C Speed 3.

Add soft butter in pieces and the egg-yolk one by one through the hole in the lid while the knives are moving. Speed 2.

Work it all. 20 Sec. Speed 5.

Pour the mixture in a terrine and let cool.

Wash the bowl and place the butterfly tool. Whip egg-whites. 2 Min. 37°C Speed 3-4.

Add whipped egg-whites gently to the mixture in the terrine.

Pour in a mould and keep refrigerated for at least 2 Hours.

My suggestion

Serve this mousse in single-portion small cups and dress with whipped cream.....a treat! ;-)
