Thermomix Sponge Cake with Custard Filling



Do you think of preparing a Sponge Cake is like a too complicated cake to make? Thanks to this video you will realise that using Thermomix it is simpler than you've ever thought! And if you are lactose intolerant, have a look at the ingredients list: there isn't milk! Obviously you won't add custard....But the sponge cake is very soft and it can be eaten alone as well!




Sponge Cake Ingredients


- 260 g Flour
- 260 g Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 1 Pinch Salt
- 1 Baking Powder Sachet
- 50 g Water


For the Filling


- 1 Thermomix Custard dose


For the Dressing


- Icing Sugar


How to prepare the Sponge Cake with Thermomix


Add eggs, sugar and flour into the bowl. 25 Sec. Speed 5.

Add the water. 15 Sec. Speed 5.

Add the baking powder sachet and the salt. 10 Sec. Speed 5.

Butter and cover with flour a baking pan and pour the mixture in it.

Bake into pre-heated oven at 160°C for 40 Minutes.

Once cooked, cut in a half horizontally and fill in a half with Thermomix Custard.

Cover with the other half of the cake and dust with icing sugar.
