Bell Peppers Tart with Thermomix

Would you like to make a bell peppers rustic tart? This is the recipe to prepare a very original and truly delicious tart with your Thermomix and it is very simple as always.

This is a very tasty rustic tart thanks to bell peppers; plus it is light because shortcrust pastry is replaced here by a very particular pastry which includes wine in its dough.

Having your Thermomix allow you not to buy ready-to-eat tarts that are full of fats and taste stale. And also the ready-to-use shortcrust pastry in supermarkets fridges. With this super quick recipe you can choose the best ingredients to use and keep quiet. So that you can enjoy such delicacy feeling no guilt or asking for seconds! ;-P

I love preparing rustic tarts because it reminds me of the past moments I spent with my friends, of spring picnic and of parties where "everyone brings something"...

Vegetables tart are the best solution to serve this food in a different way and make them appetising even to those who do not like them so much.

They are a good alternative to a sandwich or a pizza slice eaten at your office desk or on the street. And what about the satisfaction you may have when you eat a piece of YOUR tart in front of your colleagues' admiring expression? They will probably ask you: "You even have time to cook, do you?". For sure they will ask you for the recipe and maybe one of them could cheekily tell you to bring the whole tart with you and offer it to everyone for lunch next time!

Maura Archetti sent me this recipe through the Italian Facebook page (English page here).

If you want to make other rustic tarts you may prepare the Spinach and Emmentaler Tart, the Neapolitan Rustic Brioche and the Salty Mini Tarts.

While if you'd like to try other bell peppers recipes, I suggest the Stuffed Bell Peppers and the Sicilian Peperonata.
