Chocolate Ice Cream Thermomix

Chocolate Ice Cream Thermomix
When summer comes, everyone talks about a diet with a view to the sea ... yet I am overwhelmed with requests for ice cream recipes :-) The most popular one? The recipe for Thermomix chocolate ice cream!

I think that, quite simply, chocolate ice cream is so good that, every now and then, despite the costume fitting, you can even indulge in a little ice cream! No?! I love it tasted if not with whipped cream, at least with a little chocolate topping ...

And then, let's face it, kids are crazy about the chocolate flavor. At least mine. Of course, a few splashes of chocolate ice cream always end up on my clothes and I have to rinse immediately to avoid indelible stains, but after a friend of mine taught me the dish soap trick, I feel a little less distressed when they stain my dress or the white shirt.

And then, how nice to see them eat the Thermomix chocolate ice cream prepared by me with so much flavor!

Also because this recipe is the result of many tests, but I have never given up! The "cream" ice cream, in fact, always tends to melt too soon. Sometimes it is obvious to put it in the freezer for an hour before serving it, sometimes this is not enough.

Good, very good but after 5 minutes it was like this… since I'm not a fan of thickeners and expensive ingredients, I experimented with solutions that everyone could use. And here is the new result, which pleased us all very much, also because the homemade chocolate ice cream has a special flavor ;-)

If you prepare it - and I really hope so - send me the photo of your ice cream cup on Facebook or Instagram, please!

Ingredients

(8 people)
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 60 g sugar
- 20 g cocoa
- 25 g corn starch
- 300 g whole milk
- 250 g fresh cream

Let's cook

Put 100 g of dark chocolate in the mixing bowl and chop a few sec. slowly going from Speed 0 to Speed 7, until it becomes a powder. You know when it's chopped because it changes noise.

Add 60 g sugar and chop 10 Sec. Speed 7.

Add 20 g cocoa, 25 g corn starch, 100 g milk and heat 3 Min. 70C Speed 2.

Add 200 g milk and 250 g fresh cream and mix 10 Sec. Speed 4.

Pour into a low, large bowl and wait for it to cool. Then put in the freezer for 12 hours.

After this time, cut the mixture into chunks and put in the mixing bowl. Mix 20 Sec. Speed 5.

Tips

Only keep the amount of ice cream you need! If you are only 2, leave the rest for another occasion ;-)
