Do you like slithering your chicken and chips with Ketchup? Are you tired of buying industrial ketchup? Then you must try this Thermomix Tomato Ketchup Recipe!! The result is astonishing!
I am really sick of those full of preservatives tomato ketchup that fill up our supermarkets shelves. Aren't you?
That is why I asked for a recipe to prepare this so loved sauce on Thermomix-Recipes Facebook page. I would like to say thank you to everyone who gave a contribution. All the suggestions will be added to this article of course.
I don't need to say what tomato ketchup is, do I? :-) However each one of us like spreading and adding it to many different foods. For example I usually eat tomato ketchup when I prepare home-made hamburgers and chips or fried fish, chicken nuggets etc.
Usually ketchup is associated with junk food, fast food and all this stuff we all know very well. But now it's time for a change! Ketchup can also be as good as a home-made preserve. Thermomix is our great friend and as one of our closest friends, it cares for our health :-) It allows us to prepare delicious food from scratch as if we were the best chefs without forgetting we must eat well.
Apart from being healthy, this recipe is genuine and let us made a yummy tomato ketchup with simple ingredients such as red pepper, onion, vinegar, honey and lots of spices, without forgetting good fresh tomatoes ;-)!
You won't stop preparing once you've tasted it :-)
Here you are some recipes you might like: there is a Sweet and Sour Chinese Sauce and a Chilli Peppers Hot Sauce if you like stronger savours and a Philadelphia Cheese, Tuna, Heavy Cream and Anchovies Sauce, a Tuna Dip and a Philadelphia Cheese and Salmon Mousse if you prefer smoother sauces.
Enjoy them all! ;-)

My boys love it. It has the same consistency and a similar taste to the bought stuff. I can't even tell you where I got it from becuase I had to copy and paste to print it out.Sharon Vandervelde's advice
I recently made the ketchup recipe in the EDC using lovely ripe red plums, very delicious if just a bit too sweet so next time I will add less sugar.Miradija Demiri Fitzell's suggestion
Try smoking the tomatoes and garlic first. Using the EDC recipe, and add 1 tablespoon of worsteschire sauce. Smoky BBQ, eat your heart out.Other recipes to prepare Thermomix Tomato Ketchup Recipe
