Thermomix Omelette Recipe

Is there any other egg dish healthier than your home-made non-fried Thermomix Omelette?

You can cook it in the Varoma without frying or baking, just using steam!

I think this is one of the most interesting way of using a Thermomix. It mixes eggs for you and cooks them in a simple but healthy fat-free way! You just need some eggs and any other ingredients you want to add to your omelette: vegetables, meat, seafood or cheese!

This is the basic recipe to which you can add your favourite ingredients. Use your imagination or try to satisfy your beloved ones' tastes.

I love omelettes as they represent a very nourishing dish. I usually prepare an omelette once or twice a week for dinner and serve it with vegetable sides and toasted bread or croutons. Sometimes I make bigger omelettes and cut them into stripes, cubes or triangles to use them as pretty finger food appetisers or starters.

I like making different flavoured omelettes, varying the herbs I add to it: mint, basil, parsley or chives. I usually add one egg per person, but you can also add one egg more, then if you are cooking for 3 people you can use 4 eggs :-).

- 6 Eggs
- Salt and Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
- Herbs (parsley, mint, or basil)
- 800 g Water

How to prepare Thermomix Omelette Recipe

Put in the TM bowl the eggs, parmesan cheese (optional), herbs (optional), salt and pepper. Mix 10 Sec. Speed 4. Pour into a pouring jug and clean the TM bowl.

Pour the water into the TM bowl.

Place basket in TM bowl and position Varoma, pour the omelette mixture onto the lined tray and cook. 15 Min. Varoma Temp. Speed 1.

If you want to add vegetables, meat or cheese or any other ingredients, you can place them on the Varoma tray before pouring the omelette mixture onto it.

Turn the cooked omelette onto the lid of the Varoma, remove the baking paper and then return the omelette into the Varoma tray.

Reposition Varoma and cook for 5 Min. Varoma Temp. Speed 2.

Serve the omelette with whatever you want.
