Spinach Meatballs with Thermomix

Spinach Meatballs with Thermomix

These Spinach Meatballs are perfect to be served as a main course or just as a side dish, adding flavour and nourishment to your meal.

They are a healthy and complete meal, and a great trick to put some greens on your children's plate.

Meat, Spinach, Cheese, Breadcrumbs: what else do you need? You may add Parsley for some extra flavour.

If you need to use that minced meat you have in the fridge but you don't feel like deep-frying it, take a look at my recipe for Meat Loaf stuffed with Ham and Scamorza.

Ingredients

- 1 big bunch of Parsley
- 200 g Cooked Spinach
- 250 g Minced Meat
- 50 g Breadcrumbs (+ some for bread-coating)
- 35 g Cream Cheese (like Philadelphia Cheese)
- 1 Teaspoon Thermomix Vegetable Cube
- Oil for frying.

How to prepare the Spinach Meatballs

Put the parsley in the mixing bowl. 5 Sec Speed 7.

Add spinach. Sec 2. Speed 7.Add minced meat, breadcrumbs, fresh cheese and vegetable cube. 20 Sec Speed 3.

Roll the balls and bread-coat them in the breadcrumbs.

Finally, deep-fry in plenty of extravergine olive oil.

My advice
You can serve these meatballs hot or, if you prefer, even cold.

My husband loves to eat them with a dash of lemon ;-)
