Are you looking for a different olives pâté? This is the recipe for a Green Olives Pâté made with cream Cheese. Like Philadelphia Cheese.
The idea behind this quick preparation starter with your Thermomix comes from Erika Viola who lives in Turin (in the North of Italy).
I love green olives and I used Philadelphia Cheese in many recipes. I made the Pumpkin Croquette recipe or the Spinach Meatballs recipe for examples. Sometimes I replaced it with an equivalent discount market product. I think it is possible to substitute it in doughs with other ingredients (where savours mix up all together) but if you want to eat it alone, Philadelphia Cheese is incomparable.
And you? What do you think about it? Are discount market products equivalent to the major brands ones or not? Do major brands take advantage from advertisement or they are really the best ones?
