Strawberry Sorbet: How to Prepare it with Thermomix

Strawberry Sorbet: How to Prepare it with Thermomix

Does the Thermomix work a lot in your home even in summer? I guess :-) Here's an excuse to make it work even harder: the Thermomix strawberry sorbet!

Strawberry sorbet is one of my favorite desserts - I love the graininess that sets it apart from ice cream and makes you feel like you're eating a handful of fresh snow! Very… refreshing!

Homemade without an ice cream maker is of a more unique than rare satisfaction. I prefer organic strawberries, which are even tastier!

The flavor of strawberries, the real ones, not the usual syrup, makes the Thermomix strawberry sorbet truly irresistible. In short, an excellent dessert for you or to offer to your guests, perhaps with the classic whipped cream or with a brand new lemon cream ;-)

The recipe is versatile, because you can also use this sorbet to make an alcoholic version by the glass, just add prosecco or vodka, as I indicate in the advice.

With strawberries you can really make many recipes, just click on the link to discover them all!

Ingredients

- 500 g of strawberries
- 60 g of granulated sugar
- 170 g of water

Let's cook

Put 170 g of water and 60 g of sugar in the mixing bowl and cook 3 Min. 100C Speed 1.

Add 500 g of strawberries and chop 15 Sec. Speed 7.

Pour into 4 small and not very tall containers (you need to make a finger high layer). By dividing the mixture into small containers, it is easier to mix in the mixing bowl once taken out of the freezer.

Leave to cool then put in the freezer for at least 2 hours.

Remove from the freezer, cut into pieces with a knife, if needed. Put in the mxing bowl and blend 30 Sec. Speed 5.

Tips

For super freshness, add the grated zest of half a lemon to the strawberries.

You can also make it alcoholic by adding 150/200 g of prosecco or two small glasses of Vodka after having blended ;-) At that point, mix a few seconds (about 5, look through the hole in the lid) Speed 3, pour into the glasses and it's done!
