I have taken the recipe from a website but it involved vegetable oil and water. I don't like using these things in cakes, so I replaced them. The result? It was a real delicacy you couldn't resist. It was high, soft and luscious."

- 5 Eggs
- 300 g Flour
- 300 g Sugar
- 120 g Butter
- 150 g Milk
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Baking Powder sachet (15-16 g)
How to prepare the Italian Ciambellone Cake
Insert the butterfly tool inside the bowl and do not remove it until the end of the entire preparation.
Separate egg-whites from yolks, whip egg-whites. Put aside.
Put the yolks in the bowl with salt and whip. 45 Sec. Speed 4.
Add sugar, flour, butter and milk. 50 Sec. Speed 4.
Add baking powder. 20 Sec. Speed 3.
Add the egg-whites. 35 Sec. Speed 3.
Pour this mixture in a buttered baking pan covered with flour and bake. 40 Min. 180°C.

You can also add some cocoa powder to colour it a bit, but I prefer it in white for my breakfast.
