Few ingredients, figs, sugar and lemon, for a recipe of our tradition: Thermomix fig jam. If you want you can also enrich the recipe to your taste by adding ginger, brandy or cocoa.
One of the reasons that prompted me to buy the Thermomix was to be able to prepare really good and genuine preserves and jams at home to be used all year round. In particular, I love fig jam, which can be used simply for breakfast on bread , or to make delicious pies and exquisite desserts such as strudel or filled biscuits.
Making jams in the summer and fall is also an inexpensive and smart way to benefit from Christmas. Small jars are enough, perhaps with the lid covered with fabric, to really make a great impression and to be able to afford to offer a small gift even to less intimate colleagues and friends. Then: "Have fun!"
Here you are other easy and tasty jam recipes to be made with Thermomix: the Cherry Jam, the Plum Jam and the Strawberry Jam. But I'm waiting for you to tell me other mouth-watering recipes!!! :-)
If you want to use jam in your cooking, here you are the Jam Tart, the Jam Biscuits, the Milk-Free Sweet Roll, the Crêpes, the Pancakes recipes.
